I couldn’t be happier with the mortgage broker services I have received from Adam Tahir over the last few months. Initially, I approached Adam with the view of releasing equity from my residential home in order to purchase a buy-to-let property to add to my investment portfolio. Adam’s extensive knowledge and expertise in this area of financing proved invaluable to me and his patience in explaining my many options at the time helped me realise my dream of potentially owning an investment property could become a reality. However, following the Covid outbreak, that property investment plan had to go on the back burner after I lost my job so I chose to remortgage my home instead. I was stuck on a SVR at 3.59% with my existing mortgage provider, which was an extortionate rate given those available in the market. As such, I was adamant that I wanted to capitalise on the low interest rates available and I wasn’t particularly open to compromising on the rate I would take when I remortgaged. I was also keen to ensure the product I took was interest only as I needed to ensure my overheads remained as low as possible for the term of the loan. With that in mind, I gave Adam a long list of requirements for my remortgage - lowest interest rate possible (maximum of 1.5%), no product fee, interest only, and preferably a tracker for a two year period. Failing a tracker, I’d consider a fixed loan for two years given most trackers at a reasonable rate seemed to have been removed from the market. After many a lengthy phone conversation with my existing lender, who were claiming the best they could do was offer me a fixed two year loan at 2.5%, Adam managed to secure me exactly what I was after - a remortgage with my existing lender at a rate of 1.5%, interest only, and fixed for two years. I have no idea how he did it, particularly in this current Covid climate, but he did. I couldn’t be happier with the mortgage broker services I’ve received from Adam and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to others who are looking for finance to purchase a property or remortgage.  Thanks again Adam, so chuffed!

After comparison between different mortgage brokers, Adam is really a polite guy and responded promptly to offer different options in detail after we spoke over phone which showed his professionally. It was very smooth during the beginning of the application process (both mortgage and help to buy equality loan), but there were few problems occurred from my side which delayed the process, but Adam showed his patience and again his professionally to give suggestions to work things out.
